Edlon heat-shrinkable Teflon® roll covers are made of a unique Teflon® fluoropolymer resin that offers a superior high-release, non-picking surface that resists sticking and protects against rusting, pitting and corrosion. On Machine Seaming (OMS) technology from Edlon makes it possible to install a heat-shrinkable cover on a dryer without removing the roll from the paper machine. The entire installation process can be completed during normal scheduled maintenance periods, thus eliminating unnecessary production delays.

For rubber and metal rolls that withstand continual mechanical and thermal shock at temperatures up to 350°F, Edlon developed its proprietary D95 Bonding System. This revolutionary adhesive formula is engineered to produce a superior bond between Edlon roll covers and internally-heated, high-temperature drying rolls such as paper dryers, non-woven heated cans and textile finishing and slasher cans. It also has application with non-internally heated rolls that need supplemental protection against mechanical abuse and heat cycling.

The spray-applied Roll-Coat 2000 roll coating offers paper roll protection and guaranteed release performance. It also eliminates frequent downtime due to excessive roll maintenance resulting in increased production efficiency, higher quality paper, and substantial savings in time and money.
