Corrosive Resistance

Corrosive Resistance

Edlon offers unique solutions that incorporate maximum corrosion resistance and performance to achieve optimum system efficiency. For more than 40 years, Edlon has perfected every phase of design for corrosive service. Our engineers have designed or been design consultants on thousands of installations in the widest variety of industrial applications – from mass transfer and piping systems, to storage vessels and truck tanks.

Edlon possesses one of the broadest spectrum of corrosion-resistant materials to choose from in the industry. We can provide coatings and linings in a variety of thicknesses and materials, including loose liners, and glass-backed liners bonded to steel with proprietary adhesives. Such diversity allows Edlon engineers the flexibility to meet the varying needs of processors worldwide.

Edlon provides bonded liners, loose liners and coatings in a variety of chemically inert materials that feature a smooth, non-stick surface and maximum heat, permeation and corrosion resistance:

  • PP (Polypropylene)
  • FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene)
  • PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride)
  • PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
  • PFA (Perfluoro Alkoxy)
  • ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene)
